It’s been a little while since we’ve attended an actual track day this season; lately we’ve been preoccupied with a lot of drifting, a lot of autocross, and a lot of life in general, so it was a unusually relaxing to be able to hit up the most recent Speed Freaks open lapping event and just enjoy ourselves.

In preparation of both the Speed Freaks Time Attack and StratoCup by DMS Timing events, Matt thought that it’d be a good idea to bring out his brand new set of SSR Formula Mesh wheels wrapped in some rather sticky Yokohama Advan A052 tires and get them scrubbed in. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen Matt’s car rolling on a wheel that isn’t gold in colour, and I must say, it looks clean and classy.
