I’ve barely posted about it since acquiring it, but my FR-S is fairly simple in terms of modifications: coilovers, brake pads and rotors, front sway bar, wheels, tires, and a racing seat about sum up the performance oriented parts. The car is currently serving as my daily driver as well so I still very much want to keep it as a simple street car, but one that I can still bring to the track and have fun with. The day started off rather toasty as too, but as the sun slowly set my lap times went down with it, ending the day with a 1:11.364. This is also my first time really driving Stratotech since 2012, so needless to say I had some dust to shake off.
Thanks to the Speed Freaks crew for putting on another fun and safe event, DMS Timing for providing timing services that day, Nathan for the BuddyClub rail so I could finally install my Recaro SPG2, my sister for the giant chrome racing numbers, and of course Matt at RA Motorsports for the last minute brakes and service to help me get ready.
Until next time.
