I recently joined Cale in a day of ice racing again, and with winter quickly coming to end I figured, why not?

The morning started out looking pretty gloom, but was shortly followed by some brief sunlight and then ended with a rather harsh snowfall. This meant constantly changing track conditions…

…as the owner of this Mini soon found out.

Incidents during track days in the summer are fairly rare here (which is a good thing) but it’s hard not to slip off the side of the track when it is essentially one big skating rink.

Thankfully the damage was just cosmetic and the Mini was able to make it out again!
