Getting A Grip

Another weekend, another track day. The weather forecast (hah, I know right?!) showed that it wasn’t supposed to start raining until noon, which meant that we would’ve had at least two dry and warm session. Instead when I rolled into Castrol Raceway at 7:30AM, it was already drizzling and cold. As luck wouldn’t have it, the rain would continue on throughout most of the day leaving us with a wet and cold track most of the time.

The pictures don’t really show this either as I only snapped them whenever the rain let up. For the rest of the day I was huddled up in the trailer (thanks Errol!) trying to keep warm. On the upside, this weekend should be a scorching 30+ degrees down in Calgary where I’ll be for the ill.motion Sunday School. I’ll have some more track action on the blog next week once I’m back!
