Just like last time, this ASA event was yet another last minute decision for us to attend. The weather was calling for rain, then no rain, then some rain, and then maybe rain, and then it just came to a point where everyone just figured “screw it” and signed up. Thankfully it didn’t rain in the end and the sun even came out towards the end of the day.
This was also my friend Jordan’s first ever track event in his turbocharged Miata so I definitely wanted to be there to help support him. Meanwhile, Matt had gotten some fresh RT615K+’s and Cale had also installed some new Blitz coilovers for his kale powered Cappuccino, so we figured this would be a good time to break in the new parts before our season comes to an end. It was also nice to see some familiar faces from Calgary as well as a particular R32 GT-R that may or may not have had a ricer wing on it as some point…
