As always, I liked to round off my coverage of the Comic & Entertainment Expos by taking a look at the cosplayers from each event.
This is always one the things I look forward to seeing most at the conventions. You never really know what to expect…
…and majority of the time you’ll be blown away at how much effort a lot of these guys and gals put into these amazing outfits.
Glad to see one of my favourite Street Fighter characters hasn’t been forgotten.
I would love to have a Pip-Boy of my own.
It’s always nice to see families come out together for events like this as there’s always something for everyone to enjoy.
Remember those videos from Japan with those gigantic Pikachu’s all dancing around? Yeah this is basically like that.
Priscilla and Titus were also out that weekend in their new Pokemon Trainer outfits!
Sean was in his Desert Batman cosplay and found himself a crime-fighting friend.
He would later switch to his Arkham Batman suite for the next days fesitivities.
Jessica in her newly completed Valkyrie cosplay…
…and other Sean in his new Gohan cosplay!
Last but not least in our group was Kimmie with her badass looking Black Canary outfit.
Unfortunately we didn’t really get a chance to do some proper photos of every ones new outfits, but I’m sure we will later on this year.
This is only the second Samus cosplay I’ve ever seen. Keep ‘em coming!
Awesome looking Batman outfit complete with flashing LED’s. I love LED’s.
While we’re on the topic of awesome looking cosplays, I thought this Minecraft Steve was looking fantastic. Can’t imagine that it was quite comfortable to walk in though…
I’m a sucker for nurses. Oh, and uh…Pyramid Heads…
Every time I see a League Of Legends cosplay it makes me miss playing the game a little bit more. I can’t wait to watch World Finals later this year!
Photos really don’t do it justice but the wingspan on this outfit was HUGE!
Dragon Ball cosplays are pretty popular these days but this is the first time I’ve seen an Android 16 cosplay.
Again some very impressive and well done wings.
Pretty sure this joyful group of ladies all did Dragon Age last year. Looks like this years theme is Marvel!
An UNREAL looking Joker cosplay. Everything about this was just perfect.
One of the many impressive cosplays from DMacStudios.
Some of the Disney princesses all looking lovely.
Elmo looking like he’s having a good time…
…whereas the rest of his friends on the other hand not so much…
I can’t help but wonder what kind of face people with masks are making at me when I take their photo…
Perfect looking visor with that blue light strip!
Fate/stay night cosplays are rather rare so I was pretty excited to see this Saber at the expo.
An incredibly detailed Iron Man suit that even features a motorized mask that opens and closes. I think this is about as close to the real thing as it gets!
Another first time cosplay I’ve ever seen was this Juri looking ready to take on anyone.
I really enjoyed this interesting No-Face variation.
Despite how popular she is, I rarely ever see similar looking Harley Quinns.
I always enjoy seeing some of the more simple looking cosplays like this Kiki’s Delivery Service couple. Remember, it’s not always about who has the craziest outfit!
Extremely sharp looking Vincent.
Not entirely sure what was going on here…
Be sure to check out the rest of the photos in the Flickr link below. Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with for the Edmonton Expo later this fall! See you all then!
