It’s been quite some time since I’ve done car stuff (unless you count the nights watching other people do all the work on the Integra), so I was rather looking forward to the Speed Freaks Season Opener Invitational this past weekend. Hosted at Stratotech Park, this event was to be just a chilled and relaxing gathering of some local enthusiasts, while the Speed Freaks team did some hot laps in preparation for their first track day scheduled for this coming Monday, May 3rd.
Eventually I ended up in the back of Ryan’s X-Runner doing some rollers for them as Tom’s camera battery died, and then ended up driving around Stratotech myself. It’s been almost eight years since I’ve last driven there so it felt great to be back again, not to mention dust off some cobwebs on the Integra.
