The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting colder, and we’re all wearing more layers; goodbye summer. That being said, this change in temperature also signifies the end of our car season (although winter rallycross is just a few snowfalls away). Unlike last year, the last track event of the season was greeted by clear skies for the most part (whereas last years event got canceled due to snow). The air was chilly, but the sun was still shining; one last chance to get out and drive.
It’s been a fun and drama filled season with no dull moments. What’s been especially fun for me this year has been supporting some of my own friends’ efforts as they’ve started to try driving on the track the first time (except for when Daniel curbed my wheels). While many of us are starting to store our cars away for the cold winter months, many of us are already planning what our next moves are going to be for the future.
Stay safe and I’ll see you all next year!
